The GFTE is a fellowship of leaders in theological education from every Christian tradition who meet to listen to each other and to learn from those doing similar work but whose faith tradition might be different from one’s own. Participants are individual theological educators, leaders of schools, representatives of associations and funding agencies, and others who support theological education.
The GFTE provides a common round table on issues of theological education, a common platform to share experiences and explore commitments and areas for potential collaboration. The table is not controlled by or aligned with any one group, but provides an opportunity for mutual sharing among Evangelical, Independent, Orthodox, Pentecostal, Historical Protestant, and Roman Catholic theological educators.
