Recognizing the effectiveness of the format of the meeting in Dorfweil and the value of conversation across ecclesial families, the executive committee decided to retain the structure of the first meeting, but also opted for more substantial presentations and topics, in the belief that trust will be built even as participants address issues on which there is disagreement. The theme for the second meeting of the Global Forum of Theological Educators at the Orthodox Academy of Crete was “Vision and Viability in Contexts: Theological Learning and Formation.”
